I find it increasly difficult to find something to randomly write about – am I getting to grown up for ramblings?
As those of you who have been “chatting with me for a while now know” I prefer to comment than talk.
Happy Birthday Xald – so your 18. Did you do anything for it? Big pressie from the olds (seperately if I remember rightly?)
Family Law Fruitsalad!! Your outlook on life would be refreshing there. I like the new “To the Roof”
Lo – photos are fab – more query ones so it keeps me guessing
Alexallon you need to calm down – im sure everything will work itself out like last time
Fee – can we catch up next weekend I have that stuff to give you
I am addicted to a stupid game at the moment!!! I hate that it consums me and my time! I want to give it up and conquere it all that the same time.
Off to conquer it again.

In general I am not a shopper, and certainly not SHOPPING CENTRES. But I know there are a few neiche shops that can become one’s favourite for the things they offer, the way they make you feel or obviously the products they stock – but also that they are affordable and therefore accessable. I hate chain department stores – they have no soul, no originality and the impersonality of it all.
In my temp work I have been doing some admin jobs in West Perth and have found the best little gift store. It is called evolve. I am addicted to it. It has the best little pressies which dont cost a fortune and they are unusual. Maybe I am smitten because I have a lot of birthdays in July and I love that I can afford to buy presents and that I am not buying crap – they have affordable and nice presents. Unfortunatley the downfall is I keep liking stuff for myself.
I have started a layby now which I havent done since I was little and was saving for the lastest toy with my pocket money…..
Ahhhh the life of a consumer – whats your favourite little shop and why?

I have a facination with doors. I have had it for some time now but since taking up photography it has become more apparent. Here a few photos of a couple from Dubai. The big silver ones were in a hotel and were automatic sliding doors but their presence was very dominating. More doors next time….and maybe windows next??

Modds are such fickle things coming and going through our lives moment to moment, hour to hour, day to day, things changing in a blink. I feel that I let my moods rule my actions too much and so I intend to try and do planned things regardless of my moods.
And this will go both ways – going out and feel like shit (normally would bail out) but wont, going to stay home but full of energy and hyper (would normally go and do something) but wont. I want to see if it sucks or if it makes bad times good. Hopefully it wont make good times bad.
I hate the rain and wind – at least a few breaks in it would be good so I can get out and get some shots.
Ahhhh – its good to be back

Well mostly my life of late has consisted of lounging. I decided to take a year off from study and try it in the “real world”. The “real world” is so much like school/uni whatever. There are the same hierachies, groups, jokes, boredom etc and you think in some weird way that as you grow up or grow old that these things change. Maybe they just matter less.
I am however enjoying a certain freedom – I am temping with work so it is casual and have met LOTS of people. Been offered some amazing opportunites and travelled a bit.
I have missed the anon conversations or interactions of blogging with my little groups of anon “friends”. I have missed reading the comings and going of these people dispite the friendships and people I have met – it is different somehow – maybe I feel like I know you guys. And I know what you offer me or dont. I have missed reading the poetry, the drivvel and seeing the art and photography you offer. I am apologetic for now being here and yet you probably havent missed that im not here – but I dont care. Its great.
I have a hobby. Photography. It is great cause I look at the work in different ways through a lense and detached. Will post some photos as soon as I work out how.
Well glad to be back……….

I have moved house and now am isolated from the world of communication. Due to the incompetance of several tradepersons we have no internet, telephone, foxtel or airconditioning……I am in hell !
I have ducked away to a friends to quickly use a small bit of their internet time to briefly update all my buds – so consider yourselves updated.
Will be back ASAP!!! Miss me?

Sometimes time just dissappears. Like when you are watching You Tube – and follow a link and then follow another link and all of a sudden you have been stuck in You Tube for 3 hours. Or you are playing Wii and some how it got dark outside and you haven’t eaten and you lost 5 hours of your life. When does this time go?
Or when you are standing in a queue to buy your lunch and you only have 30 mins and the person in front of you is building the worlds most complex sandwich in the world and ordering a coffee (weak, soy, flat white, latte with 2 sugars in a tall glass and the milk not too hot) and then the person serving goes and makes the coffee and you have to keep waiting because you now dont have time to walk to the next place and get something and get back to work in time. Where does that time go?
Or when you are stuck in traffic and you get every red light and you get stuck behind an idiot who stops and lets random pedestrians cross the road in the middle of a street, and then drives REALLY slowly and you are on a street where you CANNOT overtake because of a large median strip. And seems to be going to same place you are because there is no getting away from them and you decide that no matter which turn they take next I am going to go the other way – even if it is not the way I want to go – I will go the long way, and then you get stuck in that amazing amount of road works that are being undertaken all over Perth at the moment. And you are late.
Where does that time go? I would like some of it back please….
P.S. Apologies for my previous email and the rambling drink talking – I’d had a hard day. Come to think of it – Ive had a hard day today….champagne anyone?

Well yes – it is only 5.50pm and I am already half way pissed. So pls excuse any bad typing or grammar. (You wouldn’t believe how much I just corrected already) My fingers wont move properly.
OK – so a couple of things.
I have worked, worked, worked this week – bloody hard too I have to say and I want to know why do people get grumpy at Christmas shopping time. OK I know that it is a bit frantic out there but I work in a calm little stipe shopping precinct not a shopping centre where we usually have lovely customers. But this week has been hell! (well slight exaggeration, not all customers….) We are asking people to donate a coin when they ask to get something wrapped – we are giving the money raised to charity. I have worked in 2 of our branches and at one shop they are great and say what a fab idea it is and are happy to give and some people even donate when they arent getting anything wrapped and in the other shop (which by the way is in a wealthier suburb) they turn their nose up at the thought of donating. Why is this? If they had to go and buy the wrapping paper and ribbon it would cost them heaps more than a 20c donation but NO they have to get the shits on…..
But this aside I love Christmas. I love that it is busier in the shops and the time goes quicker and usually some customers are happy to have a chat and are thankful for the fact they can get a lot of Christmas shopping done in one place. And it is wrapped for them.
I cant wait for actual Christmas – I love it. I love getting together with my family, extended family and the routine of the day.I love boxing day – we always do nothing – we read and watch movies and eat leftovers and go to the river and/or beach and I start my summer reading list. Love, love, love it!
New topic. I love champagne – althought technically I cant call it that as it is actually “Sparkling Wine” cause I cant usually afford proper champagne. But anyweay I love it. On that note I will go get some more…..
Love you guys……

I really wanted to share this email that a friend sent me. But it has pictures embedded in it which are crutial for the story and I can copy it in and cant be bothered saving and uploading each picture individually. Sorry people – but know I WANTED to share and thats the main thing.
Life hasnt been giving me much to talk about lately – work, work, work…Which I am enjoying but isn’t much fun to talk about. I think I need a hobby. Apart from hanging out with friend I dont really do that much day-to-day. What could my hobby be?

I am now working most days leading up to Christmas. It is going to be hectic and to top it all off we are moving house. Who’s idea was that? To move two days before Christmas? hhhhhmmmm the stress!
No it will be good to be somewhere new and exciting for the Christmas period.
I may be “offline” for a while though because of the move and getting all the internet connections etc….so dont miss me too much. (It wont be for two weeks yet but thought I would give you fair warning).
Off to work….
